A funeral ceremony will be held in Sulaymaniyah (Silêmanî) for Gulistan Tara, who was killed along with journalist Hêro Bahadîn in a drone attack carried out by the Turkish state in the Seyîdsadiq district of Sulaymaniyah on 23 August.

Gulistan Tara’s body will be sent to her hometown of Batman (Êlih) accompanied by a delegation after a ceremony to be held at Azadî Park in the city center this morning with the slogan ‘Terrorist attacks and treason will not silence the voice of truth’.
