While the clashes with Syrian regime forces and ISIS gangs continue in Hesekê, it has been reported that ISIS gangs have started to lay mines in the neighbourhoods that they had seized from regime forces. 

According to the reports of local sources, ISIS gangs are laying mines and booby traps in houses and road sides in Newşa Boulevard in Neşwa neighbourhood. It is also said that ISIS gangs lay mines in the houses of civilians and thus some civilians lost their lives due to the mines. 

In the meantime, it is reported that the town is silent as of noon, while two aerial bombardments were carried out against the gangs in Neşwa Xerbi neighbourhood in the morning hours.
