Iraqi army build more bases on borders of Shengal

The Iraqi army is building more bases on the borders of Shengal. About 10 bases have been built in the Arab region near the border.

The activities of the Iraqi army around Shengal are increasing by the day. The Iraqi government is resorting to new methods to increase the pressure and siege on Shengal. For about a month, the Iraqi army has been putting up fences as a new means of pressure to encircle the area around Shengal, especially the area bordering Rojava.

Wire fences

The wire fences in question are not only pulled to the border areas. According to the Iraqi army's plan, the wire fences will be laid 5 kilometers away from the border.

According to the plan, wire fences will be laid from the Mediban line to the village of Bir Qasim in Sinun district. When you enter 5 kilometers from the border line in Shengal, you reach Xanesor and Sinun.

New bases

While it is reported that the Iraqi army has built about 10 bases in the Arab region close to the border, the activities of the Iraqi army in the region continue.

The construction of the wall between Rojava and Shengal continues. A 250-kilometer wall has been built between Rojava and Shengal for a long time by the 18th Iraqi Border Guard Brigade of the Iraqi army.

The height of the wall is 3 meters and 75 centimeters. It is stated that the 18th Brigade is affiliated to Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Kazimi.
