People’s Defence Forces (HPG) Press Office reported in a written statement on intensive aerial activity carried out by Turkish and Iranian forces. 

HPG firstly reported on an operation launched by Turkish soldiers from Gare military post in the Şemdinli district of Hakkari in the area between Gelişim and Meydanê villages of Şemdinli on June 20. HPG added that the operation ended the same day without achieving any results. 

HPG reported that Turkish and Iranian air forces carried out drone activities over Xakurke area of Medya Defence Zones between 04:00-16:30 on 20 June and 03:00-10:30 on June 21.

Concerning the reconnaissance flights of Turkish air forces, HPG gave the following information: 

-Over Avaşin border line between 03:00, June 20 and 12:00, June 21, 
-Over Çırav area of Botan between 19:00, June 20 and 02:00, June 21, 
-Over Haftanin area between 00:00 - 04:00 on June 21, 
-Over Oremar area of Yüksekova district of Hakkari between 02:00 - 13:00 on June 21, 
-Over Gelîyê Uranis area of Tatvan district of Bitlis, between 01:00 - 02:00 on June 21,
-Over Zap region between 09:00 - 11:00 and 21:00 - 00:00 on June 20. 

HPG lastly reported that a group of 4 people wearing guerrilla clothes have been carrying out counter-guerrilla activities in the Dugerman, Mata and As villages of Bingöl since June 20.
