People holding a border vigil in the villages of Miseynter and Elizer greeted the YPG/YPJ fighters on the 171st day of the resistance.

Following the liberation of Kobanê city by YPG and YPJ forces while reconstruction is continuing, operations to cleanse the whole of the canton of ISIS gangs are ongoing. In villages along the border in Suruç district the vigil continues and in the village of Mehser preparations are continuing for a rally on 8 March, International Women’s Day.

This morning hundreds of people formed a human chain in the villages of Miseynter and Elizer to salute the YPG/YPJ fighters on the 171st day of the resistance, holding PKK, KCK, YPG, YPJ and TEVDEM flags and posters of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
