The statement said that an activity of Turkish warplanes took place over Şukê area at the border to Avashin region of Medya Defense Zones between 16:40 - 17:30 on 13 May, over Metina area at 02:00 on 14 May, and over Zap region and border area between 06:30 – 07:00 the same day.
Turkish aircraft also carried out drone activity over Çîyayê Reş area of Zap region between 22:00 - 23:00 on 13 May, and over Metina area between 00:00 – 04:00 on 14 May.
On 13 May, Sikorsky type helicopters of the Turkish army made intense military deployment to Suveren, Selvi and Gap guard posts in Genç district of Bingöl, while drone activity took place over the areas of Suveren, Selvi and Gap.
Again on 13 May, soldiers performed area control on the roads between Farqin district of Amed and Boşatê village at 19.30. On the same day, Turkish troops backed by undercover teams and village guards laid ambushes over the same route before retreating at 00:00. Reconnaissance flights were also performed over Ape Musa area from afternoon till the evening.
HPG further reported that Turkish army launched an operation in Tatan village of Varto district of Muş at 16:00 yesterday. The operation was retreated at 00:00 after it remained inconclusive.
An intense drone activity by Turkish aircraft was also performed over Tendürek area of Ağrı early 13 May morning. Unmanned air vehicles of the Turkish army left the area when guerrillas opened fire as drones started low altitude flight at the evening hours.
HPG added that another drone activity was carried out over Kırê Kor area between 15:30 – 18:00 yesterday.
