The statement, which said that the air-supported operation of the Turkish army continues, is as follows;

"Starting from 17:00 on December 14, the Turkish army bombarded Evdılkovî foothills, Geliyê Reş and Kanîreş areas in Xakurke region of Medya Defense Zones with the support of unmanned aerial vehicles till the night hours.

Concurrently with the bombardment, the Turkish army launched an invasion operation after airdropping soldiers with Sikorsky helicopters within the boundaries of Southern Kurdistan through Şemzînan (Şemdinli) district of Hakkari.

The operation involves the areas of Hill Siro, Geliyê Reş, Kanîreş and Bermizê village in Diyana city of Southern Kurdistan, and still continues. More details about the operation will be shared with the public once attained.

In the early morning hours of December 11, our forces placed under supervision a unit of the invading Turkish army that was deployed around Hill Xwedê hamlet in Adılbeg region of Hakkari’s Şemzînan district.

After a while at 09:40 in the morning, our forces targeted this unit. The emplacements of the enemy forces were hit effectively at close range and destroyed completely. Bodies of six soldiers remained at the scene and our forces confiscated one BKC machine gun from these soldiers.”
