The statement by HPG said that an activity of Turkish warplanes took place over Kandil region of Medya Defense Zones between 18:30-19:00 yesterday, over Adilbeg ve Govendê areas at Avashin border between 20:00 – 21:00, and over Metina region between 23:00-00:00.

On 13 May, Turkish aircraft performed surveillance over Metina between 00:00–05:00, over Heftanin border area and over Deryê Davetîya between 22:00 yesterday and 04:00 today.

According to the statement, Turkish army launched an operation with armored vehicles in Reşanê village of Amed's Lice district at 11:00 yesterday. As guerrillas responded with warning fire twice after Turkish soldiers attempted to enter the guerrilla areas, the operation was retreated at 12:30.

HPG said Turkish military on the other hand laid ambushes in Şirnan village and Sancak area of Bingöl between 11:00–22:00 yesterday. Military activity in the region continues.

The statement noted that Turkish military has also carried out a bombardment against the villages of Xelfeli, Horgov and Çîyayê Zorê area in Iğdır province since 10 May, in addition to an intense activity of Sikorsky helicopters over Iğdır city center.
