HPG reports intense aerial activity by the Turkish military

HPG Press Office has said in a written statement that the military activity of the Turkish forces against the guerrilla controlled areas continues.

HPG reported especially an increase of the aerial activity of the Turkish forces, giving the following information of the flights of the Turkish air force over guerrilla zones:

-War plane activity over Avashin area of Medya Defence Zones on 9 June, at between 13:20 - 14:20 and 20:00 - 21:00,

- War plane activity over Metina, Zap region and Gabar on 9 June, at between 21:00 - 23:00.

HPG listed the drone activity of the Turkish forces as follows:

-Over Heftanin area and the border line, at between 10:00, 8 June and 06:00, 10 June,

-Over Gare area, on 9 June, at between 21:00 - 22:00,

-Over Şehit (Martyr) Rehime and Şukê areas at the Avashin border line, at between 18:00, 9 June and 12:00, 10 June,

-Over Metina area, on 8 June at between 09:00 - 15:30 and 18:00 - 22:00 and on 9 June at between 05:00 - 15:30,

-Over Zap region, at between 21:30, 9 June and 12:00, 10 June,

-Over Akdağ, Apê Musa, Şehit Kendal ve Şehit Serxwebu areas of Amed, on 9 June at between 22:00 - 00:00.

HPG further reported that Turkish military forces carried out road construction between Bilican military post in Çukurca district of Hakkari and Hilalê village in the guerrilla controlled area of Ciloyê Piçuk area. HPG said the road is being constructed for the deployment of troops and military shipment near the guerrilla controlled areas, noting that the construction was carried out on 9 June at between 10:00-15:00. HPG also added that intense aerial activity of Turkish war planes and reconnaissance flights took place during the construction.
