HPG: 5 Turkish soldiers killed in retaliation for February 15 and Garê

HPG Press Centre (HPG-BIM) reported that 5 Turkish soldiers were killed to condemn the international conspiracy against Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan and in retaliation for the Garê martyrs.

In a written statement, the HPG Press Centre stated that the Turkish troops were targeted in the Metina region as part of the “Cenga Xaburê Revolutionary Campaign”.

“On February 10, at 15:20, the Turkish troops in the Girê Milîtan area in the Metîna region were hit accurately by our forces with heavy weapons. Following the action, 1 tent in which Turkish soldiers were stationed was destroyed and 5 soldiers inside were killed,” the statement said.

“This action was carried out to condemn the February 15 International Conspiracy and in retaliation for our heroic martyrs who contributed to the Garê Victory,” the statement added.

“- On February 5, between 10:00 and 12:00, the Girê Cûdî area in the Gundê Fileha region of Zap was bombed twice by Turkish fighter jets.

– On February 7, between 13:30 and 14:00, the Girê Hekkarî area in the Metîna region was bombed twice by Turkish fighter jets.

– On February 9, at 16:30, the Kunîshka area of ​​the Zap region was bombed twice by Turkish fighter jets.”
