HPG: 14 special operation police killed in Nusaybin

HPG stated that guerrillas conducted an expansive action in Nusaybin in retaliation to the massacres in North Kurdistan, and in memory of the 4 guerrillas killed in Mardin, and the people martyred in Sur and Cizre.

HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office has released a statement detailing the action conducted by guerrillas against Turkish special operation forces in Mardin's Nusaybin district on March 4.

HPG said the expansive action was carried out in retaliation to the massacres in North Kurdistan, and in memory of the 4 guerrillas killed in Mardin, and the people martyred in Sur and Cizre.

Accordingly, a guerrilla unit conducted an action with an explosive-laden vehicle targeting the Regional Branch Directorate of Traffic located near the entrance of Nusaybin district on İpek Yolu (Silk Road).

The building of branch directorate and all the 7 armored vehicles parked outside were completely destroyed in the action which left at least 14 special operation police dead and dozens of others wounded.
