HDP delegation in Qandil

A delegation from the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) has arrived in Qandil for an inspection in the village of Zergelê where a massacre was carried out by Turkish airstrikes on August 1, which left eight people dead and 15 others wounded.

A delegation from the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) has arrived in Qandil for an inspection in the village of Zergelê where a massacre was carried out by Turkish airstrikes on August 1, which left eight people dead and 15 others wounded.

The delegation is comprised of HDP Urfa deputy Osman Baydemir, Siirt deputy Kadri Yıldırım, İstanbul deputy Hüda Kaya, HDP Deputy General in Charge of Foreign Affairs Nazmi Gür and MYK (Central Executive Board) member Hatice Altınışık. The HDP executives are being accompanied by DBP (Party of Democratic Regions, formerly BDP) Hewler Representative Şilan Eminoğlu.

The HDP delegation has been welcomed by Qandil Municipality Co-mayors Mehemed Hasan and Emine Xame.
