Guerrillas finish training course in conflict zone

A new group of guerrillas has joined the fight.

A new training session for guerrillas has been completed in Bradost region of South Kurdistan which is under invasion attacks of the Turkish state.

Guerrillas who attended the “Martyr Hemze New Fighters Cycle” held a military ceremony after completing their training.

Speeches delivered at the ceremony remembered and pledged loyalty to Yazidi Society Coordination and KCK Executive Council member Zeki Şengali, who was martyred in a Turkish air raid in Shengal on August 15, and HPG commander Atakan Mahir who was martyred in Dersim on August 11.

The graduates reiterated their oath for struggle before receiving their graduation diplomas.

A celebration that followed the ceremony was attended by Koma Awazên Çiya with music performance in addition to folk songs, poems and Kurdish traditional dance halay.

The graduates include Simko Kerboran who the Turkish state and media has recently claimed to have been killed in a clash in Kerboran district of Mardin, in North Kurdistan.

Kerboran, according to whom the state pursued a psychological war against his family, said; “However, the Turkish state has learned now that I am alive and here, which must have driven them mad. I am alive and another group of guerrillas has joined the fight.”

Asked about the risk constituted by the implementation of the training course in an embattled zone, Kerboran said; “We never suspend our training because of war and clashes.”
