An action was carried out by guerrillas in Zap, in the Medya Defense Areas. The action was in memory of the Martyrs of the Heroic Week. While 2 invading Turkish soldiers were killed in the action, 2 positions were destroyed.
The HPG Press Center released a statement about an action carried out by the guerrillas in Zap.
The statement reads as follows: “An action was carried out in the Zap region as part of the Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign-
On 23 March, at 9.10 pm, our forces carried out an action against the invaders in Kela Bêdewê, in Zap. The coordinated guerrilla action was carried out from 2 sides. In this action, in which 2 positions belonging to the invaders were targeted, at least 2 invaders were killed and 2 targeted positions were destroyed.
This action was carried out in memory of all the immortal heroes of Kurdistan, especially our martyrs of the March 21-28 Heroic Week.
On 21 March, at 12.20 pm, the slopes of Girê Şehîd Şerîf in the Xakûrkê region were bombed by warplanes.
On 22 March, between 6.30 and 7.10, Saca and Martyr Rustem areas in the Zap region were bombed 3 times by warplanes.”
