Guerrilla Henna: We'll turn every area into Heftanin!

Guerrilla Henna Koselani fought in many areas and is now fighting against the invading Turkish army in Cenga Heftanin.

Guerrilla Henna, whose name means calm and sentimental, is from Rojhilat Kurdistan. Her heart is full of love for Kurdistan and especially for the people of the North. "One of the biggest reasons I love mountains is that they brought me together with all parts of my country," she says. She believed that the mountains ended the borders and she was walking with love along those mountains. Guerrilla Henna is a guerrilla who does not speak much but makes people think when she does.

We were all saying something ... She was sitting in silence, one hand on her binoculars, the other on the gun, her eyes staring. Then I realized that guerrilla Henna was actually looking at Rojhilat, the most beautiful colour in her country. She broke her silence and said: "What are the women of Rojhilat still waiting for, why don't they come to these mountains, they should come." She also said about the people of Rojhilat: "Rojhilat loves the PKK very much, everybody knows their loyalty to the Leader [Öcalan]. My mother was telling us about the day the Leader was captured in 1999. And she would cry. She would tell us how little they had reacted."

The biggest reason that brought guerrilla Henna to the mountains was to ensure the freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and to make all mothers happy in the person of her mother. Because she knew and felt that many things would happen if Öcalan regained his freedom. And that is why she fell in love with the militants and party she had listened about from her mother, and took the road to the mountains.

But most of all she had come to these mountains for women's freedom, that is, her own freedom. She kept saying how noble Rojhilat women were, saying that they would suit the mountains best. In such environments, the value of everything would increase even more. Your labor, love, companionship, war, peace, freedom and many other things...

Henna Koselani remained and fought in many guerrilla areas. Now she was fighting against the invading Turkish army in Cenga Heftanin.

Henna had come out of her house behind the Koselan Mountains in 2014… And now she is fighting for herself and other women in Cenga Heftanin, saying resolutely, "We will turn every area in Heftanin for the enemy."
