Guerrilla actions in Lelikan and Şırnak

HPG Press Office announced details of the guerrilla actions in southern Kurdistan’s Lêlikan hamlet and Hill Lezgin in Şırnak, northern Kurdistan.

The Pres and Communications Center of People’s Defense Forces (HPG-BIM) released a statement announcing that the Turkish army suffered losses as a result of guerrilla actions in southern Kurdistan’s Lêlikan hamlet and Hill Lezgin in Şırnak, northern Kurdistan.

According to the statement, guerrillas carried out an action targeting the Turkish military units in Eli Dirêj valley near Lêlikan hamlet within southern Kurdistan boundaries at 14:00 on April 13. While the positions of Turkish forces came under intense fire, the number of dead and wounded soldiers couldn’t be clarified.
