Gerîla TV published the footage of the action carried out in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area in the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

The HPG Press Center made the following statement about the action: "On 17 September, at 8pm on Şehîd Delîl Western Zap region, the Turkish invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were targeted and shot by a sniper, and one soldier was killed. This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces."
