Gerîla TV released footage of an action carried out by guerrillas against the Turkish soldiers in the Zap region of the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

The HPG Press Center said about the action: "Şehîd Delîl, Western Zap region: At 10:50 on 15 September, the invaders who tried to take up positions in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area were targeted and shot. One soldier was killed."
