Special operation police teams have once again blockaded four neighborhoods in Amed's Silvan district which remain under the control of self-defense units against the never-ending attacks and repression by security forces of the Turkish state.

The neighborhoods of Tekel, Mescit, Selahattin and Konak witnessed heavy clashes last week when military and police forces terrorized and deliberately targeted the local people, besides bombing and raining bullets on their houses, workplaces and vehicles.

Armored police vehicles have been deployed at the corner of all streets in the district while the four neighborhoods have been blockaded by police forces.
