Five remanded in custody in Bulanık

Out of 9 people who were detained as a result of house raids by Turkish security forces in Kekelî (Kırkgöze) village in Bulanık district of Muş four days ago, 5 have been remanded in custody.

Out of 9 people who were detained as a result of house raids by Turkish security forces in Kekelî (Kırkgöze) village in Bulanık district of Muş four days ago, 5 have been remanded in custody.

All the nine detainees were referred to a court after giving their statements at prosecutor's office following procedures at police department.

While four among them were released on conditions of judicial control, five others were remanded in custody on alleged charges of “being member of an organisation”, “establishing a committee” and “disrupting the indivisible unity and territorial integrity of the state”.

The arrestees have been sent to Muş E Type Closed Prison.
