Enwer Muslim: Girê Spî will be a model city of fraternity of peoples

Kobanê Executive Assembly President Enwer Muslim, Vice President Bêrîvan Hesen, TEV DEM executives Ebdulrehman Hemo and Rûken Ehmed, President of Defense Council Ismet Şêx Hesen, President of Foreign Council İbrahîm Kurdo, President of Women's Council Emîne Bekir, President of Social Affairs Herşo Faruq Şahîn were welcomed by fighters and commanders of the YPG/YPJ (People's/Women's Defense Units) at the central square of the town.
Kobanê Canton administrators and YPG/YPJ fighters made observations in the area of Male Gel (People's House) which was blown up by ISIS gangs with explosives in June 2013, the first place destroyed under ISIS occupation.
In a statement to the press outside the Mala Gel following talks with the local people, Kobanê Press Office Representative Mustafa Balî said; "Our people here were forcibly driven out of their homes and the city. They went through great hardships. Girê Spî has been liberated from ISIS occupation owing to the dignified struggle of YPG/YPJ and Burkan Al Fırat fighters."
Speaking on behalf of the Kobanê administration, Executive Assembly President Enwer Muslim recalled that Girê Spî and the peoples of the region have been liberated after three years of ISIS occupation, adding; "All peoples will live together and in fraternity in this town. As the Administration of Democratic Autonomy, we will be working with all our strength and possibilities to make sure that the people of Girê Spî can lead a life in peace and safety. We will enable them to establish their own assemblies and institutions."
Pointing out that the democratic autonomy model offers a resolution project and road map addressing to all peoples in the fifth year of the Syrian revolution, Muslim said; "This resolution project of our Democratic Autonomous Administration involves no threats or dangers for anyone because it is grounded on the protection and assurance of the democratic and free life and equal rights of all peoples. On the basis of this historic resolution project and building of a democratic and free life, we once again congratulate the liberation of Girê Spî and the historic victory achieved in the region. We declare that this will be a new step and a beginning in the construction of a democratic Syria."
