DIHA reporter and many others trapped under debris in Sur

It came out that DIHA reporter Mazlum Dolan and many others who were sheltered in a basement in Amed's Sur district remain trapped under debris after collapse of the building.

While state forces seem to be preparing for another massacre in Amed's Sur district after Şırnak's Cizre district, it came out that DIHA reporter Mazlum Dolan and many others who were sheltered in a basement remain trapped under debris after collapse of the building.

'MAZLUM CALLED FOR HUMAN CORRIDOR'

Dolan's father who spoke to ANF stated that his son called him today and said the building had collapsed due to continued artillery attacks, which left those in the basement trapped under debris.

“He told me that a woman went out with a white flag in her hand but she got shot by state forces, because of which nobody could leave the building now. He said a human corridor must be formed immediately in order to enable access to the scene and rescue the trapped”, said father Remzi Dolan.

'I DO NOT WANT SUCH FRATERNITY'

Father Dolan stressed that people in Sur have been victimized over the past 80 days, and criticized the ongoing inaction and silence on this situation. He added; "Now that the people there are blatantly left to die, I do not want such fraternity. The lie told to us for a thousand years has revealed itself today. If this is humanity, shame on it! I am saying to all Kurdish and Turkish officials, and every human being that I do not want fraternity if this is what it means."

'MY SON IS IN SUR TO WRITE THE TRUTHS'

Dolan said his son has been doing his job in Sur for 80 days to write the truths and document the happenings, adding; "My son has risked death to convey the truth to the public opinion. He wrote the truths. I am calling upon journalists, especially those working for the mainstream media, to see the atrocity committed here and write the truths if they a piece of journalistic ethics."
