Kurdistan Democratic People's Initiative has called on people to protect their honour, conscience, self-rule, enhance the uprisings and raise their voices stronger against the total warfare concept of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Pointing out that Turkish President Erdoğan put into effect a total warfare concept as of July 24 following the general elections of June 7, the Initiative held the Turkish state and Erdoğan responsible for the current situation in the country.

Pointing to the aggravated isolation of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan and massacre of Kurdish civilians every day, the Initiative said; “Erdoğan who did everything he could for the massacre of the Kobanê people is today waging a dirty war over the body of toddler Alan from Kobanê, in which he is being supported by his media organs as well. It is Erdoğan and the Turkish state that murdered Alan. The mindset advocating the massacre of Kurds has once again revealed itself by killing babies and youths in Sur and Cizre today.”

Stressing that the patriotic Kurdish people will no more remain silent in the face of the ongoing massacres, and called upon them to protect their honour, conscience, self-rule, enhance the uprisings and raise their voices stronger against the total warfare concept.

Recalling that Turkish security forces killed 6 civilians in Şırnak's Cizre district yesterday, who include babies and children, Kurdistan Democratic People's Initiative said all Kurdish people should rise up everywhere and take part in the resistance for self-rule, the most legitimate right of theirs, to stop the massacre of Kurdish youths and children.

The Initiative also called on the Kurdish people to mobilise everywhere to not leave the people of Cizre and Sur alone, and to manifest their nonrecognition of the curfew imposed on them.

Underlining that the fascist AKP government wanted to occupy every inch of Kurdistan lands and deprive the Kurdish people of their freedom, the Initiative called on patriotic doctors and health workers to undertake duty for the treatment of Kurdish civilians who got wounded mounting resistance against attacks.

The statement continued, saying; "We call on the Kurdish people and the democratic public opinion with honour and conscience to raise their voices against the fascist Turkish state and AKP government that murdered Alan washed ashore, babies and youths in Cizre, Silopi, Gever, Silvan, and to manifest solidarity with the people."
