DEM Party and HDP hold talks in Hewlêr

During the meetings, the developments and problems in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq), the ongoing conflicts and the situation in North Kurdistan were discussed.

A delegation from DEM Party and HDP visited Kurdistan Democratic People's Movement, Kurdistan Parliamentary Union and Free Women's Association in Hewlêr (Erbil), the capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

The delegation of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and the People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) includes some parliamentarians and members of both parties.

Dem Party Şırnak MP Newroz Uysal, Dem Party Van MP Gürcan Kaçmaz, Kurdistan Region HDP representatives Hikmet Hatip and Sıtkı Vakar visited Kurdistan Democratic People's Movement, Kurdistan Parliamentarians Union and Free Women's Association on Thursday.

During the meetings, the developments and problems in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq), the ongoing conflicts and the situation in North Kurdistan were discussed.

The absolute isolation of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan was also discussed and it was emphasised that all problems in Kurdistan and the region will be solved by breaking the isolation and ensuring the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan.

The delegation's visits to political parties will continue in Hewlêr and Sulaymaniyah.
