An ISIS supporter attacked an Asayiş patrol unit with an automatic rifle and killed one Asayiş member in the town of Çilaxa near Girdêm village. The attacker was also killed during the attack.

Rojava Asayiş Forces General Command stated that the Asayiş unit was near Girdêm in order to arrest civilians who had relations with ISIS gangs at the time of the attack. General Command said that Arab Asayiş member Mihemed Salih Elwan lost his life during the attack, and Asayiş forces killed the attacker before he could escape.
