Ağrı Co-mayor Sırrı Sakık suspended
Ağrı Co-mayor Sırrı Sakık has been suspended, while the other co-mayor Mukaddes Kübilay remains jailed for two months.
Co-mayor of the Municipality of Ağrı province held by the Democratic Regions' Party (DBP), Sırrı Sakık has been suspended by the Turkish Ministry of the Interior.
The other co-mayor, Mukaddes Kübilay is jailed since December 28, 2016.
