HPG Media Center stated that the Turkish military’s aerial activities and land operations continue. With regards to aerial activities, HPG stated that Turkish drones carried out scouting missions in the Oremar area of Hakkari’s Yüksekova district between 11:00 and 16:00 on June 23. Also, Turkish drones carried out similar missions in the Şehit Rahime and Şukê areas on the border of Avaşin for the past week, in Zap area between 05:00-09:00, 11:00-17:00 and 21:00-12:00 on June 23, and in the Sason district of Batman between 19:30-00:00 on June 23.

HPG stated that Turkish warplanes flew over Zagros region between 14:00 and 15:00, Zap region between 16:00 and 17:30, and Çarçella and Avaşim areas on June 23.

Lastly, HPG reported that the Turkish army has been carrying out an operation including counter-guerillas and armored vehicles in the Farqin district of Amed since 05:00 on June 23. HPG stated that the Turkish army has been establishing checkpoints on the road and laying ambushes since the start of the operation.
