Random bullets fired by police in Sur district of Amed have left a 7-year-old child wounded in the belly.

The child got wounded in Hasırlı neighborhood where attacks by police and special operation teams are growing more violent as the curfew continues.

The youth who was hit by a bullet in the belly has been rushed to Dicle University Medical Faculty Hospital and taken under treatment here.

Police also opened fire on the Free Citizens' Association in the neighborhood, starting a fire which could hardly be extinguished by fire brigade crew affiliated to Amed Metropolitan Municipality.

Special operation teams also rained bullets on Kurşunlu Mosque in Fatihpaşa neighborhood, which luckily caused no casualties.

Police teams have on the other hand evacuated the Gazi Streeet which houses historical buildings and cafes, and dozens of workplaces were forcibly closed by police force and threats, after which security forces entered the area with armored vehicles and started opening random fire around. Sounds of clashes are being heard from the area.

In Hasırlı, Laleybey and Fatihpaşa neighborhoods, police are making uninterrupted announcements from armored vehicles, saying; "Enter your houses, otherwise we will shoot you". Residents of the neighborhood remain in the streets despite the threats by police forces.

In the meantime, threats against HDP deputies and reporters in the area also continue. A group of HDP deputies and reporters were similarly targeted by police fire in Keçi Burcu region.

On the other hand, police forces have also blockaded the Selahattin Eyyubi State Hospital where civilians wounded in attacks are being taken to. Nobody is being allowed to enter or leave the hospital now.
