While the operations of the YPG/YPJ forces continue in rural areas to liberate the villages of Kobanê, 4 more villages have been cleansed of the ISIS gangs and a hill and check point were taken under control. 16 gang members were killed in the operations and the corpses of 12 were seized by the YPG/YPJ forces.

According to information obtained from reporters on the ground, YPG/YPJ forces launched an operation this morning on the Dadalî village to the west of Kobanê. The village was liberated an hour ago and YPG/YPJ forces launched another operation on the Jib al-Faraj check point in the same area. 1 gang member was neutralised in the clashes while others retreated.

YPG/YPJ forces also launched simultaneous operations in the south, south west and south eastern areas of the canton, and liberated the village of Aşmê to the south, killing 1 gang member as well as liberating the village of Zerik to the southwest.

On the south-eastern front, the Xwode hill, near the Lawarec factory, has been cleansed of gangs and taken under control, according to reports. In clashes that broke out there 12 gang members were neutralised while the corpses of 12 others were seized by the YPG/YPJ forces.

YPG/YPJ forces are also continuing to carry out operations in the eastern areas, where they launched an attack on an emplacement of the gangs in the village of Kurkê, killing 2 gang members. It has been reported that the gangs set fire to houses in the village, while retreating after suffering a heavy blow.
