ISIS gangs have attacked Manbij from three sides at 04:00 Tuesday morning and met harsh retaliation from fighters of the Manbij Military Council.

The gangs launched their attacks from northern Manbij, targeting the Sacûr river to the north, Qera El-Kebîra, Qera El-Zixîra and Oseclî Tok El-Xelîl villages to the south and Um Edese village to the west.

Manbij Military Council fighters immediately responded to the attacks which resulted in violent clashes. As many as 111 gang members were killed, an armored vehicle of the gangs was destroyed and a large quantity of ammunition belonging to them was seized during clashes.

International coalition aircraft also bombed the positions of the gang groups.
