Rojava Asayish (Security) Forces general Command reported that 1 asayish member was killed and 3 others were wounded in the suicide attack in Qamislo. The suicide attack was carried out at the Asayish building located on Wehdê Street in Qamislo at around 8:45 this morning. 

Rojava Asayish Forces representative Ciwan İbrahim held a press conference following his assessments at the crime scene. İbrahim said the attacker entered the building and exploded the bomb strapped around his chest at around 09:00. İbrahim reported that the attacker first opened fire on the watchmen at the door of the building, and that one asayish member lost his life in the fire. 

Ibrahim further informed that those who got wounded have been taken to the hospital and their health is in good condition. 
Ibrahim said that the attacker was not a Syrian citizen according to their first assessment, and pointed out that gang groups allegedly acting on behalf of Islam are attacking Muslims during Ramadan. Ibrahim said that this demonstrates once again that ISIS has nothing to do with the values of Islam and of humanity.
