The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported the interception of a car bomb in Aleppo, alleging that it came from areas under SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) control in north and eastern Syria.
“We affirm that these accusations as wrong, premature, and lacking factual evidence or transparent investigations,” SDF said in a statement on Saturday.
The SDF statement said: “It is well known that the regions separating our controlled areas and Aleppo are rife with mercenary factions affiliated with Turkey. These groups have a full interest in destabilizing security and stability and sabotaging the positive atmosphere fostered by the ongoing dialogue between our forces and the Military Operations Administration in Damascus.”
The statement added: “To ensure the facts are revealed, we reiterate our willingness to cooperate with the relevant authorities within the Damascus Administration to identify the actual perpetrators behind the bombings and the sending of explosive devices to Aleppo and other areas.”
