Prisoner Sadık Tan, who is being held at Kırşehir High Security Prison, said that he fears for his life. In a weekly phone call with his family, Tan talked about the rights violations they experience.

Tan told his family: "If anything happens to me in this prison, the administration will be responsible, because it does not respect any human being. Although I have been sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment, the Ministry of Justice, the Parliament, and the Constitution grant me many rights. These rights, however, are denied to me."

Another prisoner, Necdet Öztürk, said that his basic rights are not being recognized and that he has no security of life.
