The hunger strike launched by 10 prisoners in Bolu F Type Closed Prison continues in its 11th day.
Lİbertarian Lawyers' Platform (ÖHD) member Raziye Öztürk Turgut visited the prisoners on hunger strike and relayed their message.
Turgut stated that the prisoners will not end the hunger strike unless the conditions in prisons are improved, adding: “Their state of health is good at the moment. They demand B1 vitamin but they are not given by the prison administration. The medical room is away from their ward, they therefore demand to be examined in their ward. They stated that they will enhance the indefinite-irreversible hunger strike.”
Names of the prisoners on indefinite-irreversible hunger strike in Bolu F Type Closed Prison are: Mehmet Nuri Tanış, Mehmet İlhan, Hüseyin Yıldırım, Mahmut Balkaş, Nevzat Öztürk, Fahrettin Kocakaya, Mehmet Tarık Dağtaş, Aziz Yalçın, Kenan Karaaslan, Fethi Oktay.
