Kurdish children released from jail

Five Kurdish children who were on trial for throwing stones to the police were released.

It is reported that following the legal amendments 5 Kurdish children aged between 15-18 released from Midyat prison in Mardin.

The children were being charged with 2 up to 4-year imprisonment for throwing stones to the police which was falling within the scope of the anti-terror law passed by AKP government in 2005.

There are hundreds other Kurdish children charged with the same crimes waiting to be released.
