Dozens of Syrian and Rojavan young people join the guerrilla

Many Rojavan and Syrian young people have flocked to the Kurdistan mountains and joined the ranks of the guerrilla as part of the Serî Hilde campaign.

Dozens of Rojavan and Syrian young people have announced that they have joined the ranks of the PKK in a ceremony as part of the Serî Hilde (Rise Up) campaign with the slogan of “We rise up and turn towards free mountains”.

The young people made an announcement on their joining in the Kurdistan mountains and pointed to the Turkish state’s attacks on Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

 

The young people’s announcement said, “Leader Apo is our red line, not hearing from Leader Apo is cause for insurgency and revolt for us.”

The young guerrilla candidates pointed out the Turkish state’s attacks on the Kurdish people in particular and the peoples of the Middle East in general and stated that the primary way of standing against these attacks and fighting them is joining the ranks of the guerrilla.
