Grup Yorum member Ibrahim Gökçek and his father Ahmet Gökçek joined the press statement made at the Resistance House in Sarıyer.
Bahar Kurt, one of the group members, reminded that Mustafa Koçak died after Helin Bölek, while Ibrahim Gökçek and 2 lawyers from the Contemporary Lawyers Association (ÇHD) are still on death fast.
Kurt said: "Ibrahim does not have much time," recalling that he has been on hunger strike for 314 days. Grup Yorum members are demanding the lifting of the prohibition imposed on their concerts and music.
Speaking after Bahar Kurd, Ibrahim Gökçek's father Ahmet Gökçek said that he stood behind his son and his friends who were fighting against injustice: "Ibrahim wants to live. He wants his demands to be fulfilled. We must make more efforts to ensure his demands are met."
