Bill on stone-throwing children still waiting to be approved by Assembly

Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin said that the government is making an effort to pass a reform bill aimed at lessening the sentences of stone-throwing children before Parliament breaks for its summer recess.

The bill was passed from the Parliament’s Justice Commission. It’s now expected to be put into the General Assembly’s agenda. The Parliament will break for the summer recess on 16 July.
