Russian jets bomb positions near Turkish bases south of Idlib

While Russian jets carried out four airstrikes in the south of Idlib, where Turkish bases are located, regime forces fired a rocket at a Turkish base.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that Russian fighter jets have executed nearly four airstrikes on the towns of Al-Futirah and Kansafra in Jabal Al-Zawiyah, south of Idlib, where Turkish bases are located.

No casualties have been reported as a result of the attacks as Russian fighter jets hit south of Idlib for the second consecutive day.

On the other hand, SOHR reported that regime forces fired a rocket at the Turkish base in Kansafra town in Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib. Turkish soldiers at the base were reportedly injured.

Yesterday, a Russian fighter jet carried out two airstrikes on A-Bara town in Jabal Al-Zawiyah, south of Idlib, after Russia stopped bombing the “de-escalation” zone 11 days ago. No casualties have been reported, SOHR sources said.
