Özgür Gündem newspaper employees that had been tortured and detained before their release yesterday met in front of their sealed office today for their news meeting.
The journalists hang signs saying “Resistance continues”, “Free press cannot be silenced” and “We are on the Özgür Gündem watch” on the door of their office’s sealed door, and newspaper’s readers wrote “We resisted and won” on the building of Özgür Gündem’s office.
'APE MUSA'S PEN WILL NOT FALL'
Journalists and readers attended the news meeting today and Özgür Gündem editor Ender Öndeş stated that they would continue to produce the newspaper in the streets and prisons. Öndeş emphasized that they would not let Ape Musa’s pen to fall, and another editor Ersin Çaksu shared the headlines of today’s issue.
