Upon the request of the AKP government, İstanbul 8th Court of Peace had recently shut down Özgür Gündem and sealed the building of the newspaper. However, Özgür Gündem met with its readers and was composed of 8 pages when it was published today. Published as the special issue of Atılım newspaper, Özgür Gündem had the headline ‘RESISTANCE CONTINUES.’

In today’s issue of Özgür Gündem, the acts of solidarity with the newspaper and other developments in Turkey and Kurdistan were covered.
