Kurdish people and their allies gathered in front of the Eutelsat building in Paris, France, to protest the stopping of Med Nuçe TV’s broadcast. Led by the France Democratic Kurdish Council (CDK-F), hundreds of protestors criticized Eutelsat’s cooperation with Erdoğan as well as the closure of other TV channels such as Zarok TV and TV 10. Democratic Kurdish Society Centers across France, Paris Pir Sultan Abdal Association, ACTİT, ODAK magazine and other organizations also participated in the protest.

BİNGÖL: WE WILL PROTEST EVERY DAY

CDK-F Co-President Vedat Bingöl addressed the protestors and condemned Eutelsat’s decision to stop Med Nuçe TV’s broadcast upon the request of the Turkish state. Bingöl stated that they would not accept Eutelsat’s decision and protest every day until the decision is reversed.

CEYLAN: LETS PROTECT

KCDK-E Board Member Murat Ceylan stated that the closure of TV channels that are the voices of Kurdish, Alevi and Socialist people must be understood as the indicator of massacres that are to come, and criticized Eutelsat for its role in these possible massacres. Ceylan called upon the people of Kurdistan and their friends in France and across Europe to stand up for the TV channels, and protestors ended their two hour-long event as they chanted "You cannot silence us, we will resist and prevail."
