Iraqi State of Law Coalition MP Mensûr Bûeycî issued a written statement on the Turkish state attacks and threats and harshly criticized Turkish President Erdoğan.

Iraqi MP Mensûr Bûeycî said, “Erdoğan doesn’t speak the language of diplomacy, he must be responded to in a language he understands.”

Mensûr Bueycî said: “The Iraqi government should approach the Turkish state exactly as the Turkish state approaches us. Erdoğan doesn’t speak the language of diplomacy, he only speaks the language of violence.

Erdoğan has dreams of the Ottoman Empire. He wants to take over the region and take advantage of the current problems in neighboring countries.

The relationship with the Turkish state must be handled as with a hostile state. The Turkish state attacks are no different than ISIS attacks. We can retaliate any and all aerial or terrestrial attacks by Turkey.

Erdoğan must know that we will never accept the violation of our sovereignty. Like we defended Iraq against ISIS attacks, we will defend the country against Turkish attacks. Erdoğan and ISIS are two sides of the same coin.”
