The Facebook page of ANF English service with thousands of followers has been closed on the grounds of violating Community Standards with images of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan and freedom fighters from the PKK. The closure of the page came after it was repeatedly barred from posting for days and posts containing such images were removed in line with Community Standards.

The account of the ANF English service had also been closed last year for the same reason.

We as ANF English administration vow to continue our work and free press will not be silenced.
