Following the trial in Denmark against RojTV, Eutelsat has announced today in a press release its decision "to suspend the presence of RojTV on its satellites in order to avoid incurring criminal liability as an accomplice to terrorist activities".

The Danish Court has ruled not to close the Kurdish tv channel, but condemned it to pay a fine. RojTV is appealing the decision.

In its press release Eutelsat also stated that it "has consequently asked distributors uplinking Roj TV to its satellites to suspend broadcasts of the channel".
