After the closure of the Telecommunications Communication Presidency, Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) continued to censure Dicle News Agency (DİHA). After 44 previous bans, DİHA was reaching its audience through www.diha-haber.link, access to which was banned by the BTK last night.
No reasons were given for the ban, which was announced in the following message:
"After technical and legal review as part of the Article 5651, this website (diha-haber.xyz) is under ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW as a result of the Information and Communication Technologies Authority’s decision 490.05.01.2016.-144389 taken on 17/09/2016."
Therefore, access to the 45th website of the agency since 24 July 2016 has been banned, and readers can access the webpage through "www.diha-news.link".
