Founded 47 years ago, the PKK has eliminated the republic's 100-year policy of denial and annihilation. The 12th congress of the PKK, held on May 5-7, was marked by Abdullah Öcalan’s February 27 ‘Call for Peace and a Democratic Society’.

Speaking at the 12th Extraordinary Congress of the PKK, KCK Executive Council co-chair Besê Hozat said: "We are writing a new history. The PKK has, of course, played its role. We will now develop a new process based on this great legacy."
The final declaration of the 12th PKK Congress was successfully completed between May 5-7. We are publishing images from the congress.
