Footage by ANF shows the raid conducted by HPG and YJA Star guerrillas on Turkish troops in Oremar region at the border of Hakkari's Yüksekova district last week.

The footage shows Turkish soldiers leaving their flag behind and fleeing their emplacements in panic as guerrillas infiltrate into their areas in Oremar.

Turkish army had suffered heavy losses as a result of the action conducted by HPG (People's Defense Forces) and YJA-Star (Free Women's Troops) guerrillas against troops in Martyr Bager, Martyr Rahime and Martyr Zerdeşt region. 26 soldiers were killed in this action which lasted from 4 to 6 March, 2016.

The AKP-ruled mainstream media reported the expansive action as a simple clash in an effort to hide the casualties suffered by the Turkish military.

Yet, the video shot by guerrillas does reveal the truth that the AKP government and its affiliated media are trying to hide from the people and public opinion of Turkey.

In the video, guerrillas infiltrate into the emplacements of Turkish soldiers and start to wait for order to shoot from their commander. After receiving the order, HPG and YJA-Star guerrillas begin to hit the emplacements of Turkish soldiers with bombs and bullets. Upon noticing the guerrillas with the explosion of the first bomb, soldiers go into great panic and shock as guerrillas enter the emplacements in the following hours. Soldiers eventually resort to fleeing their emplacements.

Guerrillas later take photos near the emplacements abandoned by Turkish soldiers after suffering heavy losses.
