In an operation on 4 August 2017, HPG (People’s Defense Forces) Special Forces Units captured two high ranking officials from Turkish intelligence service MİT in Southern Kurdistan.  

ANF has obtained footage from the moment MİT members Erhan Pekçetin and Aydın Güney and another man near them were captured. We publish a part of the footage today.

We will publish the statements of MİT officials about their situation tomorrow.

In a statement on January 2nd, KCK Executive Council Co-presidency released information and documents about two top Turkish intelligence (MİT) members captured by guerrilla forces in “Martyr Sakine Cansız Revolutionary Vengeance Operation”.
