The guerrilla continues to hit the Turkish army hard in Ertuş mountains in Colemêrg's (Hakkari) Çelê (Çukurca) district.

The Turkish army has received heavy blows from the guerilla actions, and the ANF has obtained footage of the military and daily equipment acquired in these fallen positions.

In the Martyr Zeki hill where heavy clashes took place last year, two positions of the Turkish army have been completely destroyed. Large amounts of weapons, ammunition and daily equipment have been acquired by the guerrillas after the action.

HPG SABOTAGE ON SECRET UNITS

HPG guerrilla Cudi said two positions of the Turkish army on the Martyr Zeki hill have been completely destroyed. Stating that the Turkish soldiers are trying to position secret units in the area, Cudi said: "Our comrades are carrying out effective actions in memory of the Zap martyrs in Ertuş. Lately, the enemy was taking positions in the Martyr Zeki hill with secret units. Our comrades took one of these units under surveillance and laid down mines around two positions that were close to each other. The comrades carried out a sabotage action as 3 soldiers were approaching the positions. There our comrades acquired both daily equipment and pieces of weapons."

THEY FLED AND LEFT THEIR BELONGINGS BEHIND

Cudi stated that 3 soldiers died in the action and the rest fled without even taking their belongings. Cudi said the following on the acquired equipment: "3 soldiers were killed in the position where the sabotage action took place. The other soldiers fled without even taking their belongings. They removed their dead and immediately retreated after the action. Our friends entered the hill and checked the positions. There were backpacks and military equipment there. Specially made raincoats, bags, smoke bombs, flares, daily equipment and many weapons like MG-3 bases were left behind in the position. Our comrades confiscated all these shortly after the action."

"THEY WERE HIT IN THEIR LAIR"

Cudi said both positions in the area were completely destroyed. Stating that the positions were strategically important for the Turkish army, Cudi added: "Our friends `hit them in their lair`, so to speak." HPG guerilla Cudi said the following on the location of the action: "The positions have been completely destroyed. There were clothes and helmets flung around in pieces. Large amounts of military and medical equipment were left behind. Both positions were completely destroyed. There were blood stains on the rocks, proving how effective the action was. The Martyr Zeki hill is among the Ertuş fort, Martyr Jêhat and Coordination hills, and their secret units surveil the hill constantly, but our comrades can enter their lair, so to speak, and carry out such effective actions."
